It is takes you through amazing landscapes from the typical Andean landscape up to the snowcapped mountains known as APUS (Gods Protectors in a local language) and down to the tropical forests and finally gets you into the amazon basin.

DAY 1:

  •  Overnight at Soraypampa
  •  Minimum Altitude: (2800 meters or 9100 feet).

  •  Overnight at Chaullay.
  •  Minimum Altitude: (2800 meters or 9100 feet).
  •  Maximum Altitude: (4600 meter or 15000 feet).

DAY 3:

  •  Overnight at Santa Teresa
  •  Minimum Altitude: (1600 meters or 5250 feet).
  •  Maximum Altitude: (2800 meter or 9100 feet).

DAY 4:

  •  Overnight at Aguas Calientes Town.
  •  Minimum Altitude: (1600 meters or 5250 feet).
  •  Maximum Altitude: (2400 meter or 7900feet).

DAY 5:

  •  Minimum Altitude: (2000 meters or 6500 feet).
  •  Maximum Altitude: (2400 meter or 7900 feet).



Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel around 05:00 am. Then we will go to Mollepata by bus it takes around 4 hours through the bus is clearly to see the mountain range known as the ANDES the sacred Gods of the Incas, the spectacular scenic on the upper part and lower valleys with colorful landscape. Two hours driving at head the first stop in Mollepata town there are toilet facilities, souvenirs and optional breakfast and then we will continue at Challacancha the beginning of the trail. There we will meet with our support staff. There we will organize all the equipment, horses and mules. Around 9:30 a.m. we will star our trek to Soraypampa (3600 m.a.s.l or 11900 feet) the first section of the path are paved rock trail there are the old water channel still supply to new habitants, the begin is 9 km in 3 hours to Soraypampa the lunch place as well base camp, after lunch and nap we will continue hiking up to the Humantay lake (4200masl or 13800 feet) in 3 hours round trip, bottom the glacier the most spectacular views to the back ground valley and sunset, Soraypampa is located on the middle of the glaciers valleys.
From our camp site during the night clear we will appreciate the Milky Way.

Early in the morning after a delicious breakfast we begin to hike up to the highest point of the trail Salkantay Pass (4650 masl – 15,255 feet) the distance is 7 km (7.3 miles) in 3 hours, on the ascent through the between the rocky valley bottom the magnificent Salkantay Mountain (6200 masl – 20,341 feet). We reach the top of the trek. We will witness spectacular views of the mountains and the imposing snowy peaks of the Salkantay and Pumasillo. Salkantay is the second highest mountain of the Cusco region and one of the Incas God called “Apu”. Get the top is the most priceless moment on the trek after to enjoy it and pictures we will continue 2 hours downhill on the trail and gravel rocky path to get Huayracmachay our lunch spot, on the afternoon we will get in to the upper part of forest as well called “cloud forest” 9 km (5.5 miles) in 3 hours on the wide trail in the thick forest are decorate the hills with colorful sceneries and the wild life and native plant, mostly of the year weather is warmed and temperate to finally arrived to Chaullay camp site (2900 masl – 9,514 feet).

Early wake up with coca tea; after to enjoy the breakfast we will begin the hike straight to la Playa crossing on the thick forest and following on the bank of the Santa Teresa river on the gradual trail there are stopping in several family houses to inter act with them and share the local fruit and vegetables (passion fruit, banana, coffee, avocado, mango, orange and papaya) If we are lucky, we will be able to see plenty of orchids along the trail.

Early in the morning a private transportation pick us up from the camp site in order to go to the beginning of the Llactapata trail (original Inka trail); the place where we will start to hike uphill enjoying a beautiful views all the way up, once in the place known as LLACTAPATA (Inka place) you will witness one of the most spectacular views of MACHUPICCHU by one site of the citadel that is the only opportunity throughout the trek where you can appreciate this amazing picture.

After to enjoy it we will hike downhill to the river for about 2 hours to our lunch place HYDROELECTRIC train station.
After lunch, board the train to go to Aguas Caliente for overnight in the hotel and dinner at the tourist restaurant.

Early in the morning our Professional Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel. Then you will go to bus station where you will be boarding your last connection to Machu Picchu; the bus ride takes around 25 minutes and follows a zigzagging slight slope with nice views.

Once in Machu Picchu, the private guided tour around the Sacred Incan Citadel starts and it lasts around 2 hours 30 min. You will explore the highlights of the Sacred Incan Citadel of Machu Picchu; visiting even the famous panoramic view promoted by the national geography society. When the tour finishes, you will have time to explore the area on your own. Your return to Cusco city will be by train until the next train station where our staff will be waiting to escort you to your hotel in Cusco.

Optional: Hike up WaynaPicchu, the peak overlooking the Machu Picchu Archaeological site. This hike is steep and takes about 3 hours round trip, but affords spectacular views of the surrounding Andes and views over the Machu Picchu citadel from above.
